Manuela Giugliano pens a new deal with Roma, which will keep her in the Italian capital for at least three more years.
The 24-year-old has played for various Italian clubs, including Verona, Brescia and AC Milan before joining AS Roma in 2019. Already in her first season with Giallorosse, the Italian international midfielder won Italian female player of the year award. Giugliano settled down in the Eternal city, having played 67 matches and scored 13 goals for Roma. She joins Andressa Alves and head coach Alessandro Spugna, who also extended their contracts.
“Since I’ve been here this city has been exciting for me, and the fans have helped me understand from the very first day what it means to represent this team. For all these reasons, I can’t wait to continue to make history here,” added Giugliano.
