Manuela Tesse replaces Domenico Panico on Pomigliano’s bench

Manuela Tesse replaces Domenico Panico on Pomigliano’s bench, the club announced today.

Tesse, who achieved promotion to Serie A with the 2nd place in the last season of Serie B, was sacked back in September after Matchday 3 of Serie A femminile. Domenico Panico took over the team, who did reasonably well under his guidance. Currently, Pomigliano is on 7th place of Serie A Femminile, but had a series of poorer results lately. Manuela Tesse will return to the Pomigliano’s bench in the fight for 7th place.

“I am happy to be back. On one side, I hoped not to return because that would mean that Pomigliano is doing good, like they did after my departure. But now the battle to stay in the league begins, the difference is just two points and everybody wants to save themselves,” said Tesse.
