Miriam Longo moves to Fiorentina

Miriam Longo moves to Fiorentina from a fellow Serie A side, AC Milan. She signed a contract until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old started her senior career with Dreamers in Serie C but joined AC Milan in 2018. With Rossonere, the Italian forward was slowly getting more and more playing time, and became a regular in the last season, when she played 20 matches and scored two goals. Longo joins Kaja Eržen, Milica Mijatović, Rachele Baldi, Alice Parisi, Zsanett Kajan and Laura Agard who signed for Viola recently.

“I chose Fiorentina because it has always been a big club in the women’s football. Everyone here feels a great pride in wearing a jersey,” said Longo.
