Moeka Minami transfers to Roma

Moeka Minami transfers to Roma from a Japanese side, Urawa Reds. She signed a two-year deal that will keep her in the club until June 2024.

The 23-year-old is moving abroad for the first time in her career. The Japanese defender player her whole career for Urawa Reds, playing in the top tier of Japanese football. Minami, who becomes a first player from Japan in Roma, is also a regular in the international team. She becomes Giallorosse fifth summer arrival, after Stephanie Ohrstrom, Valentina Giacinti, Norma Cinotti and Elin Landstrom.

“It is an honour to join a great club like AS Roma. It will be my first experience abroad, I am feeling many sensations, but the strongest one is the joy of being able to play for Roma,” Minami said.
