Nina Stapelfeldt signs for FC Como Women, joining the club from a fellow Serie A Femminile side, Milan.
The 27-year-old played for Zürich and Luzern in Switzerland before swapping her homeland for the Netherlands and joining FC Twente. After a brief spell with Gent and Soyaux, the Swiss forward joined Rossonere last year. In total, she played 17 matches and scored four goals for Milan.
“I want to help the group achieve the goals we have set for ourselves. I am happy to be able to work with this team, a good team with a very prepared staff and facilities up to this championship,” added Stapelfeldt, who is the 7th summer arrival (Camilla Linberg, Malin Brenn, Joyce Borini, Darya Kravets, Elisa Carravetta and Maria Korenčiova) for a newly promoted Serie A side.
