Paloma Lazaro renews with Roma and will stay in the Eternal city until the end of the next season, June 2023.
The 28-year-old played for Rayo Valecano, Madrid CFF and Granadilla in her home country before making a switch to Italy. In 2019, the Spanish striker signed for Pink Bari but moved to Fiorentina shortly after. In 2020, Lazaro transferred to AS Roma. Since then, she made 33 appearances and scored 13 goals for Giallorosse. In the last season, she was part of the Coppa Italia winning team, which was the first trophy in the club’s history.
“I am happy to continue playing for Roma, a club that has a very ambitious project. We are one of the clubs that have grown the most in recent seasons, we proved it in the last one with the beautiful Coppa Italia win. I want to continue to play and fight for this team, I hope to score many goals to help my teammates achieve our goals,” said Lazaro.
