Patrizia Panico named new Fiorentina coach

Patrizia Panico named new Fiorentina coach. She signed a two-year contract with Violas.

The 46-year-old has been one of the most successful Italian players and has been inducted into the Italian Hall of Fame. She finished her playing career with Fiorentina in 2016. She became 10 times Italian champion, won five Italian cups and eight Italia super cups. Furthermore, she was also a top scorer in Serie A Femminile 14 times. After retiring, she became part of Italian youth selection staff.
