Pauline Hammarlund joins Fiorentina

Pauline Hammarlund joins Fiorentina from Allsvenskan side, BK Häcken. She penned a two-year deal with Viola.

The 28-year-old played in her native Sweden for the whole career. She wore jerseys of Tyresö, Linköpings FC, Piteå IF, and since 2016 BK Häcken. The striker played over 180 matches in the Swedish top flight. To add to that, Hammarlund also made 18 appearances for the Swedish national team. Fiorentina will be her first experience abroad.

“I am here to win. Fiorentina made a great impression on me straight away, I want to bring some Swedish football here in Italy,” said Hammarlund.
