Sara Gama renews with Juventus Women and will stay with Bianconere at least until June 2024.
The 32-year-old arrived to Torino from Brescia in 2017 when Juventus formed the women’s team. Since then, the Bianconere captain led the team to four consecutive Serie A Femminile titles, one Italian cup and two Supercup wins. One of the most experienced Italian players, with over 100 appearances for the Italian national team, has played 93 matches for Juventus and has been one of the key figures in Torino.
“I am very happy and I want to send a hug to every fan who follows us. I am very proud and I feel honoured and grateful to have you always with us,” said Gama in her message to the fans.
Juventus also presented a first newcomer in the winter transfer window. Camilla Forcinella, the 20-year-old goalkeeper, will join Bianconere on loan from Fiorentina until the end of the season.
