Sassuolo sign four players. Evi Popadinova, Virag Nagy, Isotta Nocchi, and Caroline Pleidrup Gram have all joined Neroverde for the next season.
The 25-year-old left Popadinova Bulgaria at 19 years of age and moved to England, where she signed for Bristol. After a brief spell with London Bees, Popadinova moved to the US, where she played football while studying. In 2020, she returned to Europe, signing for Kvinder in Denmark, but joined Napoli still in the same year. In the last season, she played 10 matches.
“I think I can fit in well at Sassuolo on a playing level and it can help me grow. I am really happy to become part of a club that works so professionally,” said Popadinova.
The 21-year-old Virag Nagy moves to Italy from her native Hungary, where she played for MTK Budapest in the last season.
Isotta Nocchi already has plenty of experience from Serie A Femminile. The 26-year-old forward played for Fiorentina, Florentia, Napoli and Empoli throughout her career.
Caroline Pleidrup Gram is a Danish talent who wore Brondby shirt her whole career. The 21-year-old has already played over 50 matches in the Danish top flight despite her young age.
Sassuolo are recently quite active on the market, having signed Isabella Kresche, Julie Nowak, Giorgia Tudisco, Eleonora Goldoni, Melissa Bellucci, Sara Mella, and Giusy Moraca recently.
