Sebastiàn De La Fuente takes over Fiorentina

Sebastiàn De La Fuente takes over Fiorentina after previously managing FC Como. He signed a contract until the end of the season.

The 47-year-old will succeed Patrizia Panico, who was dismissed back in May. De La Fuente began working in the women’s football in 2016 joined Inter staff, soon becoming a head coach. He led Nerazzurre to Serie A Femminile promotion in 2019. In 2021, the Argentian coach took over FC Como and achieved another promotion to the top tier. In the last season, they avoided relegation on the 7th place.

“I accept a great challenge, we have everything to do well,” said De La Fuente in his first interview.
