Serie A Femminile: Sampdoria avoid relegation

While everything in the championship group in Serie A Femminile was pretty much clear well before the last matchday, there was still a lot to play for in relegation group. While Parma were already doomed on the last place, Sampdoria and Pomigliano played each other to avoid relegation play-off. The Genoa team needed a win and managed to do so, sending Pomigliano to play-in to stay in the top tier.

Roma are the new champions despite the defeat against Juventus. Bianconere secured the second place and will play in the European competitions as well.
