Stephanie Ohrstrom joins AS Roma

Stephanie Ohrstrom joins AS Roma from their city rivals, SS Lazio. She signed a two-year contract with Giallorosse.

The 35-year-old played in Allsvenskan before making a move to Italy in 2011. During her spells with Verona, Fiorentina and Lazio, the experienced goalkeeper played 220 matches in Serie A Femminile. In the last season, she stood 19 times between the post for Biancoceleste.

“Roma are a club that I have always admired; in recent seasons the results have been self-evident and the team plays the best football in Serie A. That’s why I am so pleased to be joining this club,” added Ohrstrom, who is third summer signing for Giallorosse, joining Norma Cinotti and Elin Landstrom.
