Tinja-Riikka Korpela joins AS Roma

Tinja-Riikka Korpela joins AS Roma from Tottenham Hotspur. She signed a contract until the end of the season.

The 37-year-old has plenty of experience from the strongest Europen leagues. The Finnish goalkeeper played in the Norwegian Toppserien, Allsvenskan, Frauen Bundesliga for FC Bayern München and since 2019 in the Women’s Super League, first at Everton but for the last two years for Spurs. In total, she played 30 matches in the last two seasons.

“I am very happy and excited about my arrival at Roma. It is a great club with an important tradition and I am proud to represent it. I will do everything I can to help the team succeed in all competitions, in Italy and in Europe,” said Korpela. Giallorosse also signed Laura Feiersinger, Barbara Latorre and Saki Kumagai.
