Valentina Cernoia transfers to Milan from league rivals, Juventus. She signed a two-year contract with Rossonere, with an option for an additional year.
The 32-year-old brings plenty of experience in Serie A Femminile. The Italian midfielder spent almost ten years with Brescia, before signing for Juventus in 2017, when Bianconere team was founded. Cernoia has a total of seven Serie A Femminile titles and five Coppa Italia titles. She played over 250 matches in the Italian top tier and has over 60 caps for Azzurre on her tally.
“I am excited to be here and to begin this new adventure in black-red colors. I have been Milan fan since I was a kid so I am really honored to wear this shirt,” said Cernoia. Rossonere also recently signed Andrea Stašková.
