Vanessa Bernauer pens a new deal with Roma that will keep her in the eternal city until the end of the next season.
The 33-year-old arrived to Rome in 2018 from the German side, Vfl Wolfsburg. Since her arrival, the Swiss international midfielder played in 59 matches and scored 7 goals for Giallorosse. In the last season, Bernauer scored the decisive penalty kick in Coppa Italia final, which was the first trophy in the history of AS Roma Femminile.

“I am very happy with the renewal, I will wear for the fourth season this jersey that I feel sewn on me. With the victory of this trophy we reached a historic goal, in a historic match, in which I had the honour of scoring the decisive penalty kick. It was one of the goals we wanted to achieve at all costs. The cycle is not over, as a team we must aim for new goals to celebrate together with the club and our fans next season. Daje Roma,” said Bernauer.
