Virginia Di Giammarino signs for Pomigliano

Virginia Di Giammarino signs for Pomigliano Calcio joining the club from SS Lazio. Sara Cetinja renews.

The 23-year-old debuted in Serie A back in 2015 for Res Roma. In 2018, she made a move across the city and joined Lazio. With Biancoceleste she won Serie B title and secured a sport in Serie A Femminile in the last season. In Rome, the Italian midfielder played 20 matches in the last season. Pomigliano have also signed Debora Novellino recently.

“Pomigliano represents a starting point for me. I am very happy to marry this project because I like the club, I like the city, I like the fans who are very warm like us Romans. I hope to do well with this jersey because they deserve it,” added Di Giammarino.

Club also announced that the 22-year-old Serbian goalkeeper, who joined the club last year, extended her stay with Pomigliano and will continue also in the next season.
