Federica Russo moves to Fiorentina from Pomigliano Calcio. She signed a contract until the end of the season.
After a departure of Camilla Forcinella to Juventus, Fiorentina found her substitution in the 30-year-old goalkeeper who played for Pomigliano. Russo, who became Italian champions twice, played Torino, Rapid Lugano, Alba, Cuneo, Luserna, Juventus Women, Napoli, Riozzese Como and Pomigliano throughout her career.
“I like challenges and putting myself on the line: that’s why I chose Fiorentina. I found all the professionalism that I expected for high-level women’s football,” said Russo.
