Abbey-Leigh Stringer transfers to West Ham

Abbey-Leigh Stringer transfers to West Ham United from Everton FC.

The 26-year-old spent the last three seasons with the Toffees in Liverpool. In the last season, the English midfielder made 14 appearances in the Women’s Super League and finished 5th in the league. Previously, Stringer also played for Birmingham City and Aston Villa.

“I’m delighted to make the move to West Ham United. It’s really exciting to be joining the club and I’m looking forward to starting this next chapter in my career. My main goal is to work hard, express myself and ultimately enjoy my football,” Stringer told whufc.com.
