Adriana Leon signs for Manchester United

Adriana Leon signs for Manchester United, joining from West Ham United. She signed a two-year contract.
The 29-year-old has spent most of her career in the United States, playing in the NSWL. The Canadian winger made a move to Europe in 2019, when she signed for the Hammers. Since then, she made 59 appearances and scored 13 goals. Leon is also a regular in the Canadian international team, with 81 caps.
“I couldn’t be more thrilled and honoured to join this historic football club. To be the first Canadian female player to play for Manchester United fills me with immense pride and excitement. I can’t wait to join this talented group and put on the famous red jersey,” said Leon
