Alanna Kennedy extends with Manchester City

Alanna Kennedy extends with Manchester City and will stay with the club for two additional years.

The 28-year-old played for various clubs in Australia before moving over to the States and joining Orlando Pride, where she spent three seasons. In 2020, the Australian defender arrived to England, initially on loan, and joined Tottenham. A year later, she switched London for Manchester and signed with City. In total, Kennedy made 29 appearances and scored 1 goal for City.

“I feel as though I have unfinished business here at City. I’ve worked hard to get myself into a position where I’ve learned the style, and I have a great relationship with all the girls and staff,” added Kennedy.
