Alex Greenwood pens a new deal with Manchester City and will stay with the club for at least three more years, until June 2026.
The 29-year-old arrived to Manchester in 2020, following a spell with Olympique Lyon. Previously, the English defender also played for Everton, Liverpool and Manchester United. Greenwood won Women’s Champions League during her time with Lyon. For City, she made 80 appearances across all competitions. Experienced England international was also part of the EURO Women’s Championship winning team during the summer.
“I want to win the league. I want to compete in the Champions League. I want to win the Champions League. I have really high standards of myself and I know this club has really high standards of what we achieve,” said Greenwood.
