Alisha Lehmann joins Everton on loan

Swiss international forward Alisha Lehmann has joined Everton on loan from West Ham United until the end of the 2020/21 campaign.

The 22-year old came to London from Young Boys Frauen in summer 2018 and so far scored 9 goals in 42 appearances for the Hammers.

Lehmann was key role in West Ham’s run to the Women’s FA Cup final in 2018/19 and was nominated for the PFA Young Player of the Season award.

“It feels amazing to be here. Everton is a big club and they have done so well this season. I’m so excited to play, to score goals and win with Everton. I’m really excited to meet everyone, to be with the squad. I hope Willie can bring me to the next level. I think I have potential and I can work on a lot of things,” Alisha told after signing.

Alisha Lehmann is second winter newcomer for Everton, after the return of Jill Scott.
