Alisha Lehmann stays with Aston Villa

Alisha Lehmann stays with Aston Villa for at least three additional seasons, until June 2026, with an option for an additional year.

The 24-year-old joined the club in 2021 from West Ham United after having previously played in Switzerland for Young Boys. The Swiss forward played a total of 54 matches and scored ten goals for Villa since her arrival. Lehmann, who is the most followed women’s footballer on Instagram with over 13 million followers, is also a regular in the national team. Currently, she has 42 caps on her tally.

“I’m really happy to come back. I have never felt as comfortable as here. Every time I come here is like coming home, so I am really happy to be here,” said Lehmann, joining Maz Pacheco as the latest renewal.
