Alisha Lehmann transfers to Aston Villa

Alisha Lehmann transfers to Aston Villa from West Ham United.

The 22-year-old did not get a sufficient playing time with the Hammers, so she spent the second half of the season on loan at Everton. Since her arrival from Young Boys Frauen in 2018, the Swiss international played in 42 matches and scored 9 goals for the Hammers.

“Alisha comes with both experience and an unbelievable amount of potential. At 22, Alisha has already shown in recent seasons that she can light up any WSL game. I’m delighted she’s put pen to paper, and I’m looking forward to working with her. Alisha’s a really exciting addition to the group,” Carla Ward, Aston Villa coach, said.
