The 30-year-old will experience another one of the European strongest leagues, after having previously played in Sweden, Germany and France. In 2017, she left her native Sweden and joined Turbine Potsdam for a two-year spell. Later, the Swedish centre-back played for FC Bayern München before joining PSG in 2021. At international level, Ilestedt made 64 appearances for the national team.
