Angharad James moves to Tottenham

Angharad James moves to Tottenham, joining the club from Orlando Pride. She signed a two-year contract with an option for an additional year.

The 28-year-old spent most of her career in the Women’s Super League, playing for various teams, including Arsenal, Bristol, Everton, and Reading. Last year, the Welsh international midfielder, with almost 100 caps, moved across the Atlantic and signed with North Carolina Courage. Last December, James moved to Orlando Pride.

“I am glad to be back playing in the WSL. It’s great to sign for such a big club with such ambitions. I’m really looking forward to it,” added James.

Nikola Karczewska, Amy Turner, Ramona Petzelberger and Ellie Brazil have all already joined Tottenham recently.
