Anna Leat joins Aston Villa

Anna Leat joins Aston Villa from West Ham United. She penned a two-year contract, that will keep her in the club until June 2024.
The 21-year-old arrived to the Women’s Super League last year after finishing her college career in the United States. The New Zealand international goalkeeper made stood between the posts four times in the last season. Leat is the fourth summer arrival for Villa, after Danielle Turner, Simone Magill, and Natasha Harding.
“Aston Villa is an incredible club with a lot of history and it is an honour to join he women’s game, and this league is in such an exciting place and I can’t wait to be a part of this team’s journey,” said Leat.
