Asmita Ale signs for Tottenham

Asmita Ale signs for Tottenham and leaves Aston Villa where she played her whole career. She signed a two-year deal with the Spurs.

The 20-year-old made her way through the Aston Villa academy and was part of the squad that won promotion to the Women’s Super League. In the debut season in the English top flight, the English defender made 18 appearances. Ale, whose father is Nepalese, was also a part of younger selections of England national team.

“I’m so excited to be joining Spurs – the club has a fantastic reputation and the ambition that Rehanne, the staff and players have is something I wanted to be a part of. I’m looking forward to working with Rehanne again and learning as much as I can. I can’t wait to get started, hopefully I can help the team progress even further this season,” added Asmita Ale.
