Aston Villa present two newcomers: Meaghan Sargeant and Hannah Hampton are the latest additions to Carla Ward’s team.
The 27-year-old Sargeant joins Villa from Bristol City, who got relegated to the Women’s Championship after finishing on the last place in the Women’s Super League. Before Bristol City, a former English international defender in youth categories, spent five seasons in Birmingham City. She signed a two-year deal with Aston Villa.

Hannah Hampton is a talented English goalkeeper who is aiming to become Lionesses’ number one in the future. The 20-year-old joins Villa from Birmingham City after 50 appearances in the Women’s Super League. She has already received her first call-up to the senior national team, but is yet to play a game. Hampton also signed a two-year contract.
Remi Allen and Alisha Lehmann have already been added to the Carla Ward’s team for the next season.
