Aurora Galli becomes first Italian in Women’s Super League

Aurora Galli becomes first Italian in Women’s Super League. She joins Everton from Juventus on a two-year deal, with an option to extend for a further year.

This will be the first move abroad for the 24-year-old midfielder. Galli, who won four Serie A championships, three Supercups and Italian Cup with Bianconere, previously played also Verona, Mozzanica and Inter. Everton’s squad planning for the next season is in the full swing. The Toffees have already signed Courtney Brosnan, Toni Duggan, Leonie Maier, Kenza Dali, Anna Anvegård and Nathalie Björn for the next season.

“I’m really happy to be here. I’m looking forward to the start of the season and getting to know the girls, the staff and this club. This is an important move for me. It’s the first time I have moved away from my country. I want to help this club and my teammates achieve something,” said Galli.
