Barbora Votíková and Olga Ahtinen join Tottenham

Barbora Votíková and Olga Ahtinen join Tottenham Hotspur from Paris SG and Linköpings FC, respectively.

The 26-year-old Votikova played for Viktora Plzen and Slavia Prague before moving to France, signing with Paris Saint-Germain. During her first season in the French capital, the Czech goalkeeper was number one choice between the posts. But due to unconvincing performances and injuries, she lost the place in the starting lineup and left the club when her contract expired. The Czech international with 38 caps penned a two-year deal, until June 2025.

Olga Ahtinen played for various clubs in Finland, Denmark and Sweden throughout her career. She played in Allsvenskan for Linköpings FC, making 79 appearances across all competitions, and was named Most Valuable Player in 2022. The Finnish midfielder is a regular in the national team, with over 50 caps to her name. The Spurs also signed Luana Bühler recently.
