Becky Jane returns to Reading FC

Becky Jane returns to Reading FC after contract expiration with Charlton Athletic. She penned a one-year deal with the club.

The 30-year-old joined the Royals for her first spell in 2011 from Chelsea. After spending eight years with the club, the English fullback left Reading and joined Liverpool in 2019. Last season, she played for Charlton Athletic. In her first spell, Jane made 135 appearances and scored 22 goals. She is the second summer arrival for the Royals, joining Brooke Hendrix.

“The guys have been really welcoming, a lot of the same staff that were here when I was here. It’s been a comfortable environment to come back into and one that I’m really enjoying,” said Jane.
