Beth Mead renews with Arsenal and will stay in London also in the future. The club did not disclose the duration of the new contract.
The 27-year-old started her senior career with Sunderland, where she spent five years. In 2017, the English forward moved to Arsenal and has since become one of the key players. Mead played 166 matches and scored 61 goals for the Gunners. She was also part of Arsenal championship winning team in the 2018/19 season.
“I’m so happy to have signed a new deal with Arsenal. This club is home for me – I’ve grown so much here as a player and a person and I know we can achieve so much more together in the years to come,” said Mead for arsenal.com.
