Bethany England moves to Tottenham

Bethany England moves to Tottenham Hotspur from a fellow WSL side, Chelsea. She signed a contract until June 2026.

The 28-year-old played for Doncaster Rovers at the beginning of her career. In 2016, the English forward signed for Chelsea. Despite a one-year loan at Liverpool, England established herself as one of the best players in Emma Hayes’ squad. She also won the Women’s Super League Player of the year award in the 2019/20 season. In total, she made 115 appearances in the top tier of the English football.

“I amso excited to join Tottenham. Buzzing to meet up with the girls and get started at this great club. Let’s write some history together,” wrote England on Twitter.
