Gabby George played for United in youth categories before moving to Everton to sign her first professional contract. The English defender turned into Toffees’ legend, making almost 200 appearances in her nearly 10-year stay with the club. After United reportedly paying her release clause at £150,000, George will play for the club other than Everton for the first time in her career.
The 26-year-old Phallon Tullis-Joyce joins the club from NWSL side, OL Reign. The American goalkeeper already has some experience in the European football from the time, she played for Reims in D1 Arkema. In the last season, she stood between the posts 16 times.
While all of the above moved to United on a permanent basis, Melvine Malard joins the club on loan from Olympique Lyon. The 23-year-old forward played almost 90 matches for the best European club and won Women’s Champions League four times.
