Caitlin Foord stays with Arsenal also in the next season after extending her contract with the club.
The 28-year-old, who has experience with playing in Australia, United States and Japan, joined Arsenal in 2020 from Portland Thorns. Since then, the experienced forward played in 94 matches and scored 35 goals. Foord is one of the most experienced ones also on the international level with over 100 caps for the Matildas, with which she participated in three World Cups and two Olympics.
“I couldn’t be happier to extend my stay here at Arsenal. I feel like I’m growing and improving being here in this environment so I don’t want to leave that. I want to continue to get better and to help the team – I enjoy going out and training every day and wanting to be better and being surrounded by world-class players,” said Foord for arsenal.com. The Gunners also recently extended with Steph Catley, Frida Maanum and Lia Walti.
