Chelsea extend with Fran Kirby

Chelsea extend with Fran Kirby after the club chose to exercise the option to prolong the contract for an additional year.

The 29-year-old extended her contract with the Blues back in 2021 for two years with an option for an additional year. As Kirby proved to be one of the key players, the club did not think twice and opted for an additional year. During her time in London, the Australian international played almost 100 matches and scored 60 goals.

Chelsea also announced they will trigger a contract extension for the 20-year-old goalkeeper Emily Orman, who is yet to debut for the Blues.
