Chelsea sign Alejandra Bernabe

Chelsea sign Alejandra Bernabe from Atletico Madrid but will send her back to Spain on loan to Real Sociedad for the next season.

The 22-year-old started senior career with Madrid CFF but moved to city rivals, Atletico in 2019. The talented full-back spent last two seasons on loan, first at SD Eibar and the last at Real Sociedad, where she will return for the next season. Bernabe signed a contract until June 2026.

“I am so happy to be here and I’m grateful for the opportunity that Chelsea have given to me. I’m so excited because it’s one of the biggest clubs in the world,” said Bernabe.
