Clare Wheeler extends with Everton

Clare Wheeler extends with Everton and becomes a permanent Toffee player. She signed a contract until June 2025.

The 24-year-old played in Australia before moving to Europe and signing with Fortuna Hjorring in 2021. During last summer, the Danish club loaned Wheeler to Everton. The Australian midfielder played 7 matches in the first half of the season, thus earned a permanent contract at the Merseyside.

“I’m excited, delighted, just really happy to stay here. Playing for Everton was something I had to work to achieve and I’m really thankful to Brian Sorensen for bringing me here.” said Wheeler.
