Courtney Nevin stays with Leicester City on a permanent basis, following her loan from Hammarby IF, while CJ Bott renews her stay for additional two years.
The 21-year-old Nevin played in her native Australia before moving to Sweden in 2022. But the talented full-back stayed with Hammarby only for a brief period. During the winter transfer window, Nevin joined the Foxes on six-month loan. After playing 12 matches in the Women’s Super League, the Australian international with 22 caps will stay in Leicester also in the next season.
“It’s great to have the opportunity to stay at LCFC Women. It’s such an exciting time to be part of the club. We’ve got a fantastic squad, wonderful facilities and the chance to continue building on the success we had in the second half of last season,” said Nevin.
The 28-year-old CJ Bott joined Foxes last year from Valerenga. A New Zealand international, who previously also played in Germany and Sweden, finished her debut season in the Women’s Super League with 24 appearances.
