Dagný Brynjarsdóttir renews with West Ham

Dagný Brynjarsdóttir renews with West Ham United and will stay in London for two more years, until June 2024.

The 30-year-old spent most of her career with Valur and Selfoss in her native Iceland. She has also experienced college football in the US, while studying at Florida State and Frauen Bundesliga during her brief spell with FC Bayern München. The Icelandic midfielder joined West Ham last year and has since become one of the key players with 28 appearances in the last season. This is another important extension for the Hammers, after Kate Longhurst.

“I’m delighted to be able to stay with West Ham United. I have really enjoyed the last year and a half here and I’m looking forward to making some more memories in Claret and Blue,” Brynjarsdóttir said for whufc.com.
