Danish twins sign for Everton

Danish twins sign for Everton. Sara and Karen Holmgaard join the Toffees from Turbine Potsdam on a two-year contract.

The 23-year-olds have always followed the same path. After starting their senior career in their native Denmark with Fortuna Hjørring, they joined Turbine Potsdam last year. Karen, a midfielder, who has 17 caps for the national team, will join the team immediately, while Sara, who plays as a left-back, will be sent on loan to Fortuna Hjørring for the next season.

Recently, also Katja Snoeijs signed for Everton.
