Deanna Cooper and Lily Woodham renew with Reading FC and will stay with the Royals for the next two years, until June 2024.
The 29-year-old Deanna Cooper joined the club in 2020 from Chelsea FC. The English centre-back played 21 matches in the last season of the Women’s Super League, being one of the regulars.
Her defence partner, 21-year-old Lily Woodham moved to Reading back in 2018 from Bristol City. After a brief spell on loan with Charlton Athletic, the Welsh full-back established herself as a regular and made 26 appearances in the last season.
"I love being here, playing with this special group, and learning from some of the best in the game…
"Now, it's all about continuing to improve, repaying the faith Kelly and all the coaches have put in me!"
