Dejana Stefanovic and Guro Bergsvand join Brighton & Hove Albion. They signed a contract until June 2024 and June 2025, respectively.
The 25-year-old Stefanovic is joining the club from a Norwegian Toppserien club, Valerenga, where she spent the last three seasons. Previously, the Serbian international midfielder played for Avaldsnes in Norway and ASPTT Albi in France. She is also a regular in the national team, with a 19 caps so far.
Guro Bergsvand, who also arrives from Toppserien, where she played for SK Brann, will play professional football abroad for the first time in her career. Before signing for Brann, the Norwegian defender also spent a few years in the United States, playing college football. The 28-year-old was also part of the national team in the Women’s EURO last year.
Those are first two arrivals for the new Brighton’s coach, Jens Scheuer.
