Ella Toone commits to Manchester United

Ella Toone commits to Manchester United on a long-term deal. She will stay with the club at least until June 2025.

The 22-year-old played for the Reds in youth categories before moving to Blackburn Rovers, where she started her senior career. Between 2016 and 2018, Toone played for United rivals, Manchester City. In 2018, the English forward made a switch back to United. Since then, she made 83 appearances and scored 36 goals, which puts her on the top of the all-time list in both categories. In February, Ella Toone also debuted in the England national team.

“To sign a new contract at the club is really exciting for me; United has been a big part of my life growing up and I’m over the moon to continue my journey. The club meets my ambitions as a player, I’ve learnt so much already and I just want to keep working hard, keep contributing and have success here,” said Toone.
