Ellen White signs contract extension with Manchester City and will stay with Citizens for two more years, until June 2023.
The 32-year-old joined Manchester City in 2019 from Birmingham City. So far, White has scored 24 goals in 55 appearances in all competitions so far, 15 in the last season. Two time Women’s Super League winner with Arsenal is also a regular England international. She scored 34 goals in 95 appearances for England and won Bronze Boot award in the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
“I’m delighted to have everything sorted. I’ve really enjoyed the last two seasons, and I’m excited for what the future holds for this team and to be a part of it. I still want to develop too as a player – I’m 32, but I still want to learn and get better. I’m surrounded by a great group of players who constantly push each other to improve in a competitive environment,” White added.
That is another City’s extension in a few days, after Laura Coombs.
