Emilia Pelgander moves to Leicester City from a Swedish side, KIF Örebro. She penned a three-and-a-half-year deal.
The 19-year-old was the first player of her generation to play in Allsvenskan. The Swedish midfielder debuted for the senior team in 2020 and has since played a total of 84 appearances for Örebro. The talented international in the Swedish youth national teams is moving abroad for the first time in her career.
“I’m really excited and grateful for this opportunity. I really liked my first talks with the manager, discussing how Leicester play and the philosophy here, and I think it will be a good fit for me,” said Pelgander. The Foxes also recently signed Yuka Momiki.
