Emma Watson joins Manchester United on a free transfer from Glasgow Rangers.
The 17-year-old came through Rangers’ academy and debuted for the first-team in 2021. The Scottish midfielder soon become a regular and played almost 40 matches across two years. Despite her young age, Watson also debuted for the national team earlier this year, playing four matches so far.
“I’m absolutely delighted to sign for Manchester United. It’s a huge club with a lot of history and I cannot wait to get started,” said Watson. United previously signed Geyse Ferreira and Gemma Evans.
