Esme Morgan extend with Manchester City

Esme Morgan extend with Manchester City and will stay with the club for at least three more years, until June 2025.

The 21-year-old entered Manchester City academy when she was fourteen. As a childhood City fan, the English defender signed a first professional contract two years ago. Morgan was sent on loan to Everton in the 2019/20 season but has been a regular with the Citizens ever since returning. In total, she made 49 appearances for the City across all competitions.

“I’m so excited to sign a new contract. I’ve been a City fan my whole life, and it’s no secret that I’ve got intentions of staying here for a long time,” told Morgan for mancity.com.
